    What is Medi-Cal?

    What Is Medi-Cal?

    Medi-Cal is a public health care program available for individuals, families, children and pregnant individuals. Medi-Cal offers free or low-cost health coverage for California residents who meet eligibility requirements. It uses federal poverty level limits of the current year to determine eligibility for its programs. If you’re eligible for Medi-Cal through the State of California may be able to enroll with the Community Health Plan of Imperial Valley.

    How much will I pay?

    Medi-Cal with Community Health Plan of Imperial Valley is free for families who qualify. There are no monthly premiums or co-pays.

    Medi-Cal Expansion

     ANY QUALIFIED ADULT 26-49 CAN NOW GET MEDI-CAL THROUGH COMMUNITY HEALTH PLAN OF IMPERIAL VALLEY 

    Community Health Plan of Imperial Valley will offer Medi-Cal benefits to all Californians despite their immigration status (living in the United States as a legal resident or not), starting January 1, 2024.
